Pastor Victor Lukusa was born and raised in Mbujimayi, Democratic Republic of Congo, in a Christian family where faith and service to God were central. He gave his life to Christ at a young age and began serving in ministry early, supporting church leadership and developing a strong foundation in biblical teaching and spiritual discipline.
In September 2012, he was consecrated into ministry by Apostle Aaron Timotée of Cité d’Espérance, marking a defining moment in his pastoral calling. He went on to serve as a youth pastor, mentoring and discipling young people and engaging in various ministry and media initiatives focused on evangelism and spiritual growth.
After relocating to the United States, Pastor Victor Lukusa founded The Word of God International Christian Center (WGICC) in 2018, where he serves as Visionary and Lead Pastor. Under his leadership, WGICC has grown into a vibrant, multicultural church known for Spirit-filled preaching, active ministries, and its annual international conference, CONFWORD – The Conference of the Word of God.
Pastor Lukusa is joyfully married to Mrs. Carine Lukusa, and together they are the proud parents of three daughters. He is a devoted family man with a strong passion for equipping believers, raising leaders, and preparing the next generation to live lives grounded in faith, purpose, and the Word of God.
